JB--Johnny Blaze-- This is the dog that changed my mind and won my heart... He also sent me on a very interesting learning experience... JB was my first Pit Bull the one that showed me that Pit Bulls are not all the hype that the media protrays them to be...I also originally had the same public perception some have and I was afraid of them. My sons had wanted one for years I always said no absolutely not. Then one day my oldest brought JB home, I was getting ready for work and he said Ma you gotta come see this he got hit by a car and almost by a second one I couldn't just leave him there...so I came out not knowing quite what I was going to see and here was this 3 month old little wiggling, and wagging all excited pup with the cutest face well anyone that owns a Pit Bull knows what happened next I was forever converted... Now, Pit Bulls are my dog of preference and as long as I can I will honor JB by owning Pit Bulls...... I truely miss him..... |

Now that I have been learning about Pit Bulls and have had the opportunity to talk with fellow owners I have found many people started off like me... but once they meet them or own one thats pretty much it...they won't settle for less... |

My Biggest Bone and My New Jacket Pit Bulls are not cold weather dogs--they do not have heavy coats to protect them from the cold--they like to be nice and warm just like you--JB liked to wear his jacket even in the house, although outside with his playing it didn't work out so well... |

No Room for Me Yes we have cats too, 4 to be exact, all get along well with the dogs but again I must stress the point that they are always supervised... |
